MLKT's sections and clubs help assess and develop the skills and aptitudes of students, allowing them to spend leisure time on useful activities. Naming, areas of activity, numbers, and terms of clubs and sections are established by the administration of the lyceum. They operate under the guidance of the Deputy Director for Educational Work and under the supervision of the leading teacher. Sections and clubs of the MLCT are created by order and with the permission of the lyceum administration and are determined by their members through a competition.
The MLKT organizes academic scholar events at the class or lyceum level every four quarters of the academic year. The purpose of scientific activities organized in teacher-student cooperation is to develop students' creativity and ingenuity, prepare young people for the professional future, and assemble new leaders and experts. That also contributes to the lyceum goal to make a statement and ingratiate students.
In MLKT, students devote free time to seminars, competitions, Olympiads, contests, conferences, and other events. Under the guidance of class teachers, instructors, and deputy directors, students improve their erudition and enhance their capabilities.
The purpose of educational institutions is the youth development and cultivation of a conscious, cultural character. To this end, the MLKT organizes various cultural events. Thus, it forges sentiment, mutual understanding, and reasonableness to living in a multicultural environment, where multicultural communication and reciprocal respect are essential. Examples of such events are national days and holidays, days of memory, New Year, and Independence Day. Kazakhstan is a multicultural and multinational state. Therefore, Kazakh people respectfully connect to other ethnicities and cultures. Each nation has its own culture, the preservation of which is the duty of the people. In this regard, the most vital mission lies with the youth. Thus, cultural events are of great importance for young people.
In the international lyceum Kazakhstan-Turkey, much attention is paid to sports events. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk noted the importance of sports for human health, saying that "a healthy body has a healthy mind." There are competitions in athletics, table tennis, wrestling, volleyball, football, basketball, chess, and other sports. Each of the events proceeds with an award ceremony for the winners. Consequently, champions and winners take part in national and international competitions. To improve the sports qualities and reveal the abilities of students, special contests are organized, individual classes are held, and sports training is conducted.
Art is a hobby of youth. Painting, sculpture, calligraphy, music, folklore, singing, and other crafts are the basis of arts. Lyceum organizes a series of events to raise interest and nurture attachment, artistic taste, and creative skills.
The MLKT issues a newspaper that comes out once in 3 months and a journal printed twice a year. Thus, teachers and students can share and publish their plans, projects, and articles.
